When I first came to Austin I lived WAY north. I had just left the teaching industry in Brian Texas and was in between jobs upon my arrival. Needless to say, I had some time on my hands. From previous visits to Austin I had always loved spending time in Hyde Park. So when I moved here, despite my north Austin address, I spent as much time in this central Austin community as I could.
The more time I spent in this area, the more I fell in love. Needless to say you didn’t have to twist my arm too much when I decided to relocate to central Austin. Hyde Park is so rich in diversity and culture, the history of this community is brag worthy. Hyde Park homes are brag worthy as well, from the doll house cottage to the Frank Loyd Wright style contemporary, Hyde Park’s homes are as diverse as its residents.
